Second Annual Craft Fair!

This year the Second Annual Handmade Holiday Craft Fair will take place on Saturday, November 19 from 10 am - 4 pm at TC Williams HS (3330 King St. Alexandria, VA). There will be over 40 local handmade crafters, club-run food booths, and athletic fundraisers! This event raises money for Joining Hearts and Hands, a Fairport, NY organization that promotes educational and economic improvements in Kenya and Tanzania.  Last year, the craft fair raised $1,600 which helped build a form four classroom in Tanzania for the Usumbara Girls HS!

Come support the wonderful students at TC Williams HS as they hope to put on an even better show this year!

Vendors of the Week!

Little Mountain Soap Company and Open Eye Press!

Ruth Kondylas and her daughter Rachael have been involved in crafting for many years and have a great following! Ruth has been a small business owner for 13 years, and offers handmade herbal and floral soaps, natural body care goods, and a small line of soy candles.

Rachael Kondylas is owner of Open Eye Press, a small screen printing and handmade crafts operation run out of Baltimore, MD. Rachael finds inspiration in simple design, and old school graphics. Her processes involve little or no harmful chemicals or solvents (with the exception of letterpress), and she always try to incorporate as many eco-friendly materials as possible. Everything is 100% handmade!

Vendor of The Week!!!!!

The vendor of the week is Lara Adrienne, who is the designer of her outstanding Rocked Jewlery collection!!! Adrienne has been handcrafting jewlery since she was 10 years old, and now she is making profits off of her collection. New York City, Boston, and Washington, D.C., are the main cities where she is currently selling her line. Many of her designs were inspired by the chic stlye that can be seen in New York City. Adrienne is willing to take any design request of her customers, and she is always available.
